For our commission, we take care of the work around your guests and your home.
If the booking comes through a site such as Airbnb, Booking.com or Expedia, the portal fee is deducted first. Our commission is then taken from what remains. Direct bookings have no portal fee. The example uses a 15 % portal fee. Cleaning and bed linen are charged on top.
We usually manage to increase bookings and rental income so much that you, as the owner, end up with the same income as if you rented it out yourself – just without all the hassle.
If you want it, we use a pricing system that updates the price every day. It takes into account the season, the day of the week, holidays and how much is already booked. When demand is high, the price goes up, and during big events such as Ólavsøka we raise it ourselves. If nights are still available as the date gets close, the price can come down. You can always set a minimum price.
Your home is usually listed on Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo and more – and can be booked directly on vert.fo. Through these sites it also shows up on price-comparison sites such as Trivago. One shared calendar keeps everything up to date, so we avoid double bookings.
Good photos, clear descriptions and quick replies get more guests to choose your home. Good reviews move it up the search results.
