Die Hütte liegt an einem kleinen Hafen! Von den nahe gelegenen Parkplätzen im Ort ist sie über einen kurzen Fußweg gut erreichbar. Sie ist toll eingerichtet und die Lage ist ideal, um die Umgebung (insbesonder die Inseln Streymoy und Sandoy) zu erkunden.

Beautiful place, set in the most beautiful landscape. The water is so peaceful, and the area is filled with sheep. The home is as described. I would caution anyone that it can be difficult to get to the house. As mentioned, it’s a couple minute walk from the parking, but it’s across what can be difficult terrain. You have to walk across uneven concrete, a muddy path, a bridge, up wooden stairs, and another path to get to the front door - which wouldn’t be bad, expect with the frequent rain, it can be really slippery, especially if you’re carrying luggage. Overall it’s beautiful and worth it, and all part of staying somewhere more remote!

Absolutely stunning cabin. The inside is beautifully decorated and wonderfully cosy. You have a breathtaking view out on the water. The cottage is nice and secluded so you really feel the peace and quiet!! Kitchen was also really well stocked.

The waterfront Cabin in Kaldbak was delightful. We stayed for 4 nights - and would have stayed longer! It was everything I had dreamed of (and more) and exactly as the description. My husband and I love small cabins - but this felt larger than expected with plenty of space to move around, lounge, and enjoy the views. The short walk from the parking area to the cabin was lovely - and felt like a small adventure each time we came and went. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to prepare all our meals. The radiant floor heating system keeps the cabin toasty evenly throughout, and I would certainly be comfortable there year-round. The decor and small touches around the space are lovely - and I can't wait to return again.
