La maison est spacieuse et confortable, située dans une petite ville très proche de Klaksvik. Voir les montagnes au réveil est vraiment agréable. La maison est très bien équipée, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner et faire des lessives. Une petite rénovation de la salle de bain serait un plus. Les lits sont confortables, ainsi que le salon. Une station de bus se trouve à proximité et une station essence/supérette est à 10 minutes à pied.

Mooi oud huis. Alleen miste er het een en ander. Tv en stereo waren niet te gebruiken en een van de electra punten gaf kortsluiting. Dit alles is gemeld maar zou na verblijf worden opgelost.

We had a fantastic time in Leirvik. Great base for visiting the northern islands and really worth walking up the trail to the ridge to the south of the house with amazing views.

Everything as described. Great location, in the middle of Faroe. The apartment quite spacious, perfect for the family of 4. All amenities as described; although a hairdryer would be nice. If to describe shortly - something new, something borrowed, something old.. in general we liked to stay there!

We booked it to be close to Klaksvik for the boat tour - that was the biggest advantage. In general the place matches the photos and description. It's very nice. The communication is what it is - it's not the owner but an agency. It doesn't feel like a classic Airbnb human experience, but rather a very formal one, and with no human interaction. They send you their own forms that rob your time, and upon checkout bombarded my email with 5 different emails - half of them with the rules and offering late checkout for extra $$$. That's another thing - prepare for early checkout at 10am (not really convenient). Also, some of the dishes in the drawer were dirty, and there were some damp towels in the washing machine - probably from the previous guests. The house is what's in the description: old and with low ceilings and squeaky floors, but cozy and has all the amenities. Good for 1-2 nights probably.
