The cabin is very clean and spacious and well fitted out. The beds are super comfortable, the heating is excellent and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. There's a smart TV and a few jigsaws upstairs, and lots of accumulated leaflets etc. with ideas for where to go. The view is stunning, especially when the Faroese fog lifts! It was easy to get into the cabin, although it was a little difficult to find at first - the GPS wanted us to turn off the side of the highway through a barrier - and you have to drive through a little industrial area to get to it, but that's not really a bother as it doesn't impede the view or make much noise. There's two supermarkets just across the bridge, and the location is excellent for trips as you can get to Eysturoy without having to pay for the tunnel and nothing in the Faroes is that far away anyway. Wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Nice location with great views! Convenient to get to many places all around. Plenty of kitchen stuff available to cook meals with your own food. Lots of comfy sitting areas.

Vi nød 3 skønne dage i dette skønne bådhus. Selvom vejret ikke var fantastisk, var udsigten helt fantastisk. Nemt at komme til de andre øer med bil, så vi fik set hele den nordlige del af Færøerne.

We loved our stay here in Hvalvik! It was the perfect base for our stay with so much just a short drive away. Joe Pizza also came in handy a few nights - there aren’t many restaurants on the island, and being able to walk there at night was great. We were so close to Saksun (a must do) we went twice. The space was spotless and our kids love the upstairs catwalk. Would highly recommend staying here!
