We had a wonderful stay here. This was our home base for a little over a week to explore the islands. It worked well as a central location. The house itself is very nice and spacious. We were able to spread out, cook meals, and do laundry. It was our home away from home. The shower had hot water. I would stay here again if I visited again.

What made our stay perfect is the utilities provided by the property owner, very thoughtful people. The place is exactly as shown in the picture, highly recommanded.

Upon arrival, right next to the front door, we were greeted by a pair of clogs covered in bird droppings. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, so it’s quite mandatory to have a very slim and very still companion during the night. The second bedroom is really-really cramped, reachable only by agile kids and would not be habitable according to EU-laws The house is located very close to a relatively busy road and is therefore quite noisy, especially compared to the island’s usual standards. Finally, the house is presented as a historical home, but it’s simply full of knick-knacks and trinkets that make it feel old rather than antique. As I’ve experienced two other houses in the same price range, that were clearly superior in terms of architecture, comfort, and location, I feel justified in leaving such a review to warn future users: you can find far better.

This is a great place to stay; it is a wonderful space and has a well stocked kitchen. The snacks upon arrival were welcomed. The listing has the incorrect address on the Airbnb platform (as of July 2024). Thank goodness we found a friendly local who directed us to the correct address.

Calm area. A little bit of traffic on the passing road, but still a quiet area where you can relax. The house has everything that you need, including free wifi and apple-tv. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the atmosphere is relaxing. No noise from the neighbourhood.

The cozy charm of the cottage, combined with the breathtaking Northern Lights which we were lucky to see, created an unforgettable experience.
