We sought a place in view of the ocean but also walkable to the sights, restaurants and bars in the city. This residence was ideally located for these considerations. The residence is light and airy, with great views over a sheep meadow to the ocean and the weather variations that make the Faroe Island such an inviting and unique place. We really enjoyed our breakfasts here, watching the sun rise! We found everything to our satisfaction and the host was quick to answer the few questions we had.

The home is lovely, with absolutely stunning views from the living room and bedrooms. We didn't use the outdoor patios off the 2 bedrooms, because it was chilly and rainy while we were there, but really enjoyed sitting in the living room looking out across the green field and ocean to the neighboring island. Absolutely lovely and relaxing. There is 1 full bathroom with shower off the entryway, and one 1/2 bathroom (toilet + sink) connected to the master bedroom. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. There was also a washer and dryer on the property, located below the house in an unfinished basement. It was also fantastic to have parking onsite! We loved that this property was away from downtown Torshavn. It was quiet and peaceful, and just a few minutes drive into town for restaurants, shopping, and site seeing. We highly recommend this beautiful home for your stay!
