Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend und eignet sich von der Lage her gut, um die Färöer zu erkunden. Der Meerblick von der Terrasse und den meisten Zimmern ist unglaublich schön. Zudem ist ist die Unterkunft sehr grosszügig mit Küchenutensilien wie Besteck, Pfannen usw. sowie mit sonstigen Gebrauchsgegenständen ausgestattet. Einzig waren einige Leuchtmittel defekt, weshalb die Beleuchtung am Abend etwas knapp war. Die Unterkunft war sauber und ist schön, jedoch ist das Bad etwas spartanisch ausgefallen, was jedoch kein Problem ist. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern bzw. mit der Vert-Agentur war unkompliziert und rasch. Insgesamt können wir diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Gunnar's place was perfect for our trip to the Faroe Islands, conveniently in the middle of everything we wanted to do. The village was quiet and had a beautiful waterfall. We could see the stars at night, milky way, meteors, and even the aurora! It felt very cozy and everything we needed was provided. Towels, blankets, pots and pans, utensils, a fridge, travel charger, and a fun binocular! The heating in the home was perfect, and there was even a fire we could start if it got too cold. The walk is definitely a small hike that is short but steep. It was worth the location!Watching the sun rise over the water and mountains in Leynar was amazing to wake up to everyday! I highly recommend Gunnar's place to stay if you want to enjoy the peaceful nature in the Faroe Islands!

Man skal kæmpe for tingene, for at komme op med bagagen. Men kampen op af den stejle bakke, var kampen værd. Smukkeste sommerhus i de smukkeste omgivelse. Kæmpe anbefaling herfra.

We had a great stay at this airbnb. It was a perfect homebase for exploring the Faroe Islands. The kitchen and living space were perfect for a cozy night in. We would absolutely stay again.

The place is definitely super quiet, and looks like the pictures...too bad for the huge thrasbags on the terrace containing the litter from the previous customers. We are apparently not the first mentioning this issue. This aside, the place was fine and clean overall, but absolutely not worth the price: some broken lamps, tiny and unpractical shower, wrong instructions about checkout time (Airbnb mentions 11am, host company says 10 and ask extra money for late checkout), dishwasher not emptied, and said above thrashbags in front of the house... Not critical things but not easily accepted for the price paid.
