Rigtig fint sted centralt i Thorshavn. Der var alt hvad vi havde brug for. Rigtig hyggelig hytte. Det eneste minus var at det var lidt besværligt med parkering.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It is well located in the heart of Torshavn and close of bars and restaurants. There is a great little bakery near by: Breyðvirkið on Jónas Broncksgøta. A number of free parking lots are close by with varying time limits (2 hours and 8 hours between 9am and 6pm). We went out exploring most days, so never had to worry about exceeding those limits. Check in and check out instructions were straight forward and shared well in advance. One small point to note is the ceiling height on the lower floor. It could be a problem for taller people. I am around 6'5" / 196 cm and had to stoop to avoid hitting my head on the wooden beams. I expect this would not be a problem for anyone who if 6' / 182cm or less.

This place us at a great location and feels authentic. however, it is overpriced for what you get. we booked for 4 people and linens and towels were provided for only 3. the bathroom had not been cleaned in a while which became evident while showering (drain was clogged with hair from previous guest and caused the bathroom to overflow). needless to say, we had to unclog the drain ourselves. Not a good experience for over $500 USD per night

The location is great and the house was comfortable and clean. It is well stocked- toilet paper, paper towels, towels, utensils, etc. The windows could be opened for fresh air. There was ample room in the bedroom for luggage/storage. The bed in the upstairs doubles as a makeshift couch.
